ESTIMATION METHOD FOR VERTICAL LOAD ACTING ON ASEISMIC BASE ISOLATION BEARING AND MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION QUALITY OF ASEISMIC BASE ISOLATION BEARING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an easy estimation of a vertical load acting on aseismic base isolation kept under a state in which a structure is supported.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an estimation method for vertical load acting on an aseismic base isolation bearing comprising a step for measuring a height H of the aseismic base isolation bearing under no-load of vertical load; a step for obtaining a related curve line of a vertical load-vertical displacement of the aseismic base isolation bearing with a vertical displacement of the aseismic base isolation bearing kept under no-load state of the vertical load being set to 0 by a vertical load application test carried out for the aseismic base isolation bearing; a step for measuring a height [h] of the aseismic base isolation bearing kept under a state of supporting a structure, subtracting the height [h] from the height H to calculate a vertical displacement [d] of the aseismic base isolation bearing; and a step for obtaining indirectly a vertical load acting on the aseismic base isolation bearing kept under a state in which the structure is supported in reference to a related curve line of the vertical load-vertical displacement and the vertical displacement [d].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
