FITTING METHOD FOR SEISMIC ISOLATOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting method for a seismic isolator, capable of easily fitting the seismic isolator to a position between a lower skeleton and an upper skeleton even when there is a positional deviation between the lower skeleton and the upper skeleton in a horizontal direction.SOLUTION: A fitting method for a seismic isolator includes the steps of: disposing a seismic isolator 10 to a position between a lower skeleton 3 and an upper skeleton 4 to dispose a lower flange 12 so as to be opposite to the lower skeleton 3 and dispose an upper flange 13 so as to be opposite to the upper skeleton 4; fixing the upper flange 13 on the upper skeleton 4 to which the upper flange 13 is opposite; performing position adjustment by horizontally moving the lower flange 12 by taking a reaction force against the lower skeleton 3 and the upper skeleton 4, by using a movement device; and fixing the lower flange 12 on the lower skeleton 3 to which the lower flange 12 is opposite.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
