COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE AND ON-VEHICLE UNIT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for a vehicle, capable of accurately determining whether or not a mobile unit is present in a cabin regardless of rotational position, even in a case where an antenna that transmits a signal for determining whether or not the mobile unit is in a cabin is disposed at a movable part of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A communication system for a vehicle includes an on-vehicle unit which transmits a signal through a plurality of antennas provided at a vehicle, and a mobile unit which receives the signal that is transmitted from the on-vehicle unit and transmits a response signal according to the received signal. The on-vehicle unit receives the response signal that is transmitted from the mobile unit, and based on the received response signal, determines whether or not the mobile unit is in a cabin. At least one antenna is arranged at a movable part supported rotatably around a shaft part 52a provided at the vehicle, and includes a rod-like magnetic body core 31a, and a coil 31b wound around the magnetic body core 31a, with a length direction of the magnetic body core 31a being almost parallel to the shaft part 52a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
