COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE, ON-VEHICLE UNIT, AND PORTABLE UNIT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system for a vehicle which eliminates the need of battery exchange of a portable unit without separately introducing a dedicated non-contact power supply device.SOLUTION: The communication system for a vehicle includes an on-vehicle unit 1 for transmitting a signal for detection from a plurality of LF transmission antennas 2 provided in a vehicle C, and a portable unit 3 having a reception antenna for receiving the signal for detection to transmit a response signal including reception signal intensity of the received signal for detection. The on-vehicle unit detects the position of the portable unit 3 on the basis of the reception signal intensity included in the response signal, and performs non-contact transmission of power to the portable unit 3 by supplying AC power to one LF transmission antenna 2 in the case where the detected position is a prescribed position. The portable unit 3 receives the power subjected to non-contact transmission from the one IF transmission antenna 2 by the reception antenna together with a power storage part for storing power to operate an own unit, and charges the power storage part with the received power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】専用の非接触給電装置を別途導入すること無く、携帯機の電池交換を不要とする車両用通信システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両用通信システムは、車両Cに設けられた複数のLF送信アンテナ2から検出用信号を送信する車載機1と、検出用信号を受信する受信アンテナを有し、受信した検出用信号の受信信号強度を含む応答信号を送信する携帯機3とを備える。車載機は、応答信号に含まれる受信信号強度に基づいて、携帯機3の位置を検出し、検出された位置が所定位置である場合、一のLF送信アンテナ2へ交流の電力を供給することによって、電力を携帯機3へ非接触伝送する。携帯機3は、自機を動作させるための電力を蓄える蓄電部と、一のLF送信アンテナ2から非接触伝送された電力を受信アンテナにて受電し、受電した電力にて蓄電部を充電する。【選択図】図1
