PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery installation structure capable of supporting a storage battery while suppressing the cost, even to a wall in which a surface material, such as a gypsum board, having a low mechanical strength is used.SOLUTION: In a storage battery installation structure, surface materials 1, 1 forming an inner wall and comprising a gypsum board are fixed to a crosspiece 2 arranged to divide the rear face of the surface materials and comprising a wooden crosspiece, and a plate-shaped storage battery 3 is fixed so as to extend over horizontal members 2a, 2a of the crosspiece 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
