MOBILE RAILROAD MAINTENANCE DEVICE AND RAIL TRAVEL VEHICLE UNIT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance an operation rate of a transport vehicle and to mount equipment for railroad maintenance, of which a structure is simplified, on the transport vehicle.SOLUTION: A mobile railroad maintenance device 10 comprises plural kinds of rail travel vehicle units 30 on which different equipment for rail road maintenance is loaded, and a transport vehicle 20 equipped with a load-carrying platform 21 on which any selected vehicle unit 30 is so loaded as to be unloadable. The vehicle unit 30 comprises a pair of left and right wheels 32 for rail travel which are provided at at least front and rear positions of a vehicle body 31 with a clearance coincident with a width of a rail therebetween, and jack mechanisms 33 which are provided at at least front and rear positions of the vehicle body and lift the vehicle body upwards with respect to a ground surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
