PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation input detector with higher convenience.SOLUTION: A sensor output of a side surface proximity sensor provided in a lower side surface part of a vehicle, is input to a door ECU constituting an operation input detection part of an operation input detector. The door ECU determines that operation input by a user is executed, when detecting a change indicating proximity of a detection object in the sensor output of the side surface proximity sensor, and when detecting a first peak Pa1 in acceleration α of the sensor output, and thereafter, detecting a second peak Pa2 in the same direction as the first peak Pa1 at a preset first prescribed interval T1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】より利便性の高い操作入力検知装置を提供すること。【解決手段】操作入力検知装置の操作入力検知部を構成するドアECUには、車両の下方側面部に設けられた側面近接センサのセンサ出力が入力される。そして、ドアECUは、この側面近接センサのセンサ出力に検出対象物の近接を示す変化が検出されたとき、そのセンサ出力の加速度αに第1のピークPa1が検出された後、予め設定された第1の所定間隔T1をあけて、第1のピークPa1と同方向に第2のピークPa2が検出された場合に、利用者による操作入力が行われたものと判定する。【選択図】図4
