STEEL PIPE COUPLER STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress buckling of a steel pipe with multiple recesses on its outer peripheral surface by using a simple structure.SOLUTION: In a coupler structure of a steel pipe 10, multiple recesses 11 are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe 10 and a coupler 20 is fitted on the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe 10. The coupler 20 has the substantially same inner diameter as the outer diameter of the steel pipe 10 and comprises a frame part 21 formed along the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe 10 and a projection 22 that projects from an inner peripheral surface of the frame part 21 and is fitted in the recess 11. Fitting the projection 22 in the recess 11 can suppress buckling of the steel pipe 10 and reinforce the portion around the recess 11 by installing the frame part 21 on the outer peripheral surface of the steel pipe 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】外周面に複数の窪み部が設けられた鋼管において、簡易な構造を用いて鋼管の座屈を抑制する。【解決手段】鋼管10のカプラー構造では、鋼管10の外周面に複数の窪み部11が設けられるとともに、鋼管10の外周面にカプラー20が取り付けられている。カプラー20は、鋼管10の外径と略同一の内径を有し、鋼管10の外周面に沿って設けられる枠部21と、枠部21の内周面から突起し、窪み部11に嵌め込まれる突起部22と、を有している。突起部22を窪み部11に嵌め込むことで鋼管10の座屈を抑制しつつ、鋼管10の外周面に枠部21を設けることで窪み部11の周辺を補強することができる。【選択図】図3
