BRACE MATERIAL AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace material with high deformability and an assembly method thereof.SOLUTION: A brace material 100 comprises: a rod-like axial material 10; a stiffening pipe 20 in which the axial material penetrates; a fixing side cap 30, which is connected to a fixing side end that is one end of the stiffening pipe 20 in longer direction and to one end of the axial material 10 in longer direction; a sliding side cap 60, which is connected to the other end of the axial material 10 in longer direction; and a socket pipe 50, which is detachably connected to a sliding side end as the other end of the stiffening pipe 20 in longer direction or the sliding side cap 60. The fixing side cap 30 and the sliding side cap 60 have a joint element 40 that serves as a joint for installing in a building structure. The socket pipe 50 surrounds the periphery of the sliding side end and the periphery of the sliding side cap 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
