PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more enhance convenience by eliminating the need of the attitude change of a user, in a face authentication device.SOLUTION: The face authentication device performing personal authentication by using a face image includes imaging means 11 and a display part 12. When acquiring the face image, an image captured by the imaging means 11 is displayed on the display part 12. A reference marker RM for aligning the position of the part of a face such as both eyes is displayed together with the image. The reference marker RM has a form to be linearly extended in the vertical direction of a screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
