To provide a face authentication system capable of easily executing processing of reflecting update (additions, deletions, changes, etc.) of face information on a server device side to a face authentication device side, and capable of performing daily face authentication without any problems while safely managing face information which is personal information even when the face information is updated on the server device from time to time.SOLUTION: A face authentication machine is configured to make a distribution request for face information to a management server in response to a power-on of an own device. The management server delivers face information related to the face authentication machine of a request source to the face authentication machine, in response to the distribution request from the face authentication machine. Also, the face authentication machine erases the face information stored in the own device in response to a power-off of the own device. Also, the face authentication machine performs reactivation according to a preset schedule.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
【課題】サーバ装置側の顔情報の更新（追加、削除、変更など）を顔認証装置側へ反映させる処理が簡易に実施でき、サーバ装置において顔情報が随時更新される場合でも、個人情報である顔情報を安全に管理しつつ、日々の顔認証を支障なく実施できるようにする。【解決手段】顔認証機は、自装置の電源オンに応じて、管理サーバに対して顔情報に関する配信要求を行い、管理サーバは、顔認証機からの配信要求に応じて、要求元の顔認証機に関係する顔情報を顔認証機に配信する。また、顔認証機は、自装置の電源オフに応じて、自装置に保持された顔情報を消去する。また、顔認証機は、予め設定されたスケジュールにしたがって再起動を実施する。【選択図】図１０
