PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral monitoring system for a work machine which allows an operator to quickly recognize a region of high importance in a screen of a display device.SOLUTION: A peripheral monitoring system 100 which monitors a periphery of a shovel includes a control unit 35 that controls a display device mounted on the shovel. The control unit 35 displays a periphery monitor image that is provided by combining respectively taken images of a plurality of imaging devices 40 attached to the shovel on a screen of the display device working as an output device 50, and further, magnifies a part of the periphery monitor image relatively for display.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
