PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal shaft rotary window capable of restraining an opening angle of a sash from becoming small in a closing regulation state of the sash.SOLUTION: A horizontal shaft rotary window 1 comprises a window frame 3, a sash 2, a horizontal lateral shaft and a movable body 51. The movable body 51 comprises a pressing roller 515 and a journaling body 516 for rotatably journaling the pressing roller 515. The movable body 51 is constituted so that the pressing roller 515 can be arranged in an opening-closing position for putting the sash 2 in an openable-closable state and a regulation position for putting in a closing regulation state of regulating the closing movement of the sash 2. The sash 2 comprises a closing regulation piece 20 for abutting on the pressing roller 515 so that the closing movement of the sash 2 can be regulated in a state of arranging the pressing roller 515 in the regulation position, and has a dimension of an interval dimension or less up to an abutting surface 206 to the pressing roller 515 of the closing regulation piece 20 from the axis 515A of the pressing roller 515 in the closing regulation state, and comprises a regulation part 8 for regulating the closing movement of the sash 2 at a predetermined opening angle of the sash 2 in a softened state of the pressing roller 515.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
