PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for a vehicular slide door.SOLUTION: The safety device for a vehicular slide door includes: a lower rail including an intermediate engaging bracket; and an arm part attached to the slide door at an outer end part and connected to the lower rail at an inner end part. The arm part includes a rotatable intermediate engaging lever. The intermediate engaging lever comes into contact with the intermediate engaging bracket and comes into contact with a tongue part of an inner end part of the arm part, in an open position, to prevent the slide door from passing an intermediate open position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
