To stably move a slide door in a direction including an element that is perpendicular to the face of the slide door when the slide door is operated from the closed state to the open state.SOLUTION: A slide door device 1 has a slide door body 2 and a slide door support portion 3. The slide door support portion 3 has a slide member 32, a movable member 33, a connecting member 34, and a guide portion 35. The slide member 32 has a guided portion 321 to be guided by the guide portion 35, the guided portion 321 is guided along the guide portion 35 in a direction including a component perpendicular to one surface 2a, and the movable member 33, together with the connecting member 34, moves in a direction including a component perpendicular to one surface 2a when the guided portion 321 is guided by the guide portion 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
