PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxide cast body capable of casting an oxide cast body from a molten oxide without generating cracks.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing an oxide cast body where a melted oxide is solidified to produce an oxide cast body, characterized in that a melted oxide is made into a solid-liquid coexistent oxide, the solid-liquid coexistent oxide is injected into a die, thereafter, it is discharged from the die before the central part is solidified though the surface part of the solid-liquid coexistent oxide is solidified, and its temperature is kept.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
