PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an oxide sintered body usable suitably as a sputtering target for forming, by a sputtering method, an oxide semiconductor film of a semiconductor device with high field effect mobility and reliability.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of producing an oxide sintered body containing indium, tungsten and zinc that comprises a step of forming a double oxide containing indium and tungsten, a step of preparing a mixture of raw material powders containing the double oxide, a step of forming a molded body by molding the mixture, and a step of sintering the molded body to form an oxide sintered body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
