SEDIMENT REMOVAL BUCKET AND SEDIMENT REMOVAL METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sediment removal bucket and a sediment removal method which enable excavated sediment inside a vertical shaft to be discharged with improved reliability.SOLUTION: A sediment removal bucket comprises: a container body which has a cylindrical trunk section, a bottom section at a lower end of the trunk section and an upper opening; and a tubular air distribution section which is arranged inside the trunk section with a lower edge thereof connected to the bottom section. The bottom section has: an inner side surface which constitutes a portion of an inner peripheral surface of the container body with the lower edge of the air distribution section connected thereto; an outer side surface opposite to the inner side surface; a claw which is downwardly extended from the outer side surface to scoop up residue; and an air outlet which is arranged at a position on the outer side surface corresponding to the lower edge of the air distribution section and communicated with the air distribution section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
