SEISMICALLY-ISOLATABLE GRAVESTONE AND STONE MONUMENT
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravestone and a stone monument, which can be prevented from collapsing due to an earthquake and a tsunami.SOLUTION: An inner frame obtained by molding a stainless steel plate (with a thickness of about 2-5 mm) is provided. A stainless steel pipe (with a diameter of about 100mm) is inserted to a lower concrete foundation base from a central part of an upper stainless steel plate (with a thickness of about 2-5 mm). An inner frame stainless steel plate (with a thickness of about 2-5 mm) is supported and reinforced in three intermediate locations by stainless steel pipes (with a diameter of 27mm) or plates (with dimensions of a thickness of about 2-5 mm and a width of 30-50 mm). A seismically-isolatable gravestone/stone monument is characterized by the above base isolation countermeasures.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
