PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel water gate which attains downsizing such that a double opening type water gate can be installed even in a narrow location.SOLUTION: A double opening type steel water gate 1 comprises: installation columns 20a and 20b on which steel door bodies 10a and 10b are installed in a rotatable manner; and front columns 30a and 30b disposed at a front side of the installation columns 20a and 20b and including stoppers 31a and 31b on which the door bodies 10a and 10b are abutted in a state in which the door bodies are opened. The installation columns 20a and 20b and the front columns 30a and 30b are made of steel. The installation columns 20a and 20b are connected with each other, the front columns 30a and 30b are connected with each other, and the installation columns 20a and 20b and the front columns 30a and 30b that are disposed in a longitudinal positional relation are connected by steel girders 40, 41, 42a, 42b, 43a. 43b and 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
