PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engagement tool for a hook rod to prevent a hung hook rod from being easily released and dropped.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an engagement tool for a hook rod comprising a plate part 40 including a first surface part 400 and a second surface part 401; a first element 41 protruded at the first surface part 400 of the plate part 40 and having an engaged recess part to which a first portion 310 of a hook part 31 is engaged; a groove part G positioned at a lower part than that of the first element 41 and formed between a second element 42 protruded at the first surface part 400 of the plate part 40 and a third element 43 to receive the extremity end location of a rod-like part 31 of the hook rod 3 and a part 44 to be abutted that is positioned below the first element 41 and above the groove part G and protruded at the first surface part 400 of the plate part 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
