FIREPROOF STEEL BEAM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof steel beam, which can be easily constructed and has high fire-resistant performance and a lower flange undersurface covered with a thermally expandable sheet.SOLUTION: A fireproof steel beam comprises: a steel beam made up of two flanges facing each other in horizontal direction and a piece of web that connects the two flanges; a thermally expandable fireproof material, which continuously covers undersurface, lateral face and at least a part of a top face of the lower flange located lower than the other of the two flanges; a thermally disappearing member, which is located on the thermally expandable fireproof material along both ends of the top face of the lower flange; and a spray fireproof material, which continuously covers at least the web lateral face and the top face of the thermally disappearing member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
