PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block for a side gutter capable of efficiently draining rainwater and other forms of road surface water even when there is an opening at an edge of a curbstone installed on a block body, and allowing the curbstone to be positioned inevitably at a time of installation.SOLUTION: A block body 2 has a top surface 5 formed in steps, at a height lower than an apron part 5a located on a roadway side through an opening 6 parted by a top surface part 5b on a sidewalk side where a curbstone 3 is installed, and also has a protrusion 8 having a protruded surface 8a protruded toward the top surface part 5b from a hanging surface 9 continuing from an edge of the apron part 5a on the opening 6 side, on a top closing surface 7a of a closed part 7 on at least one location continuing from the top surface part 5b and parting the opening 6. The curbstone 3 installed on the top surface part 5b is positioned on the roadway side when a bottom end 3a of the curbstone comes in contact with the protruded surface 8a. Also, the curbstone may be positioned such that the protruded surface 8a protruding from the hanging surface 9 is positioned within a top width 6a of the opening 6, and the bottom end 3a of the curbstone 3 is covering a part of the top width 6a at above the opening 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】ブロック本体上に設置する縁石の間際に開口があっても降雨等の路面表面水を効率よく排水可能で、縁石の設置に際しても必然的にその位置決めができる側溝用ブロックを提供する。【解決手段】ブロック本体２は、縁石３を設置する歩道側の上面部５ｂが分断せる開口６を介して車道側に位置するエプロン部５ａより低く、夫々段状をなして上面５が形成されるとともに、上面部５ｂと連続し開口６を分断してなる少なくとも１箇所の閉塞部７の上端閉塞面７ａに、エプロン部５ａの開口６側の端縁に連設する垂下面９からその突出面８ａを上面部５ｂへ向けた突起８が突設されて形成され、上面部５ｂに設置する縁石３は、その一下端部３ａが前記突出面８ａとの当接により車道側への位置決めがなされる。又、垂下面９から突出する突出面８ａが開口６の上幅６ａ以内に位置し、縁石３の一下端部３ａが開口６上でその上幅６ａの一部に被さって位置決め可能とした。【選択図】図６
