SURFACE TREATED MOLDING HEAT INSULATION MATERIAL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding heat insulation material capable of suppressing deterioration and degradation and having long life at low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a surface treated molding heat insulation material having an impregnation step for impregnating at least one surface of a molding heat insulation material which has a fiber felt by entangling a carbon fiber and a protective carbon layer consisting of a carbonaceous coating a carbon fiber surface of the fiber felt into a surface coating agent solution which consists of a synthetic resin and a solvent dissolving the synthetic resin and adding the surface coating agent solution to the molding heat insulation material, and a heat treatment step for heat treating the molding heat insulation material under inert atmosphere at 1500 to 2500°C after the impregnation step and carbonizing the synthetic resin to form a surface coated layer, wherein the synthetic resin is a phenol resin and a heat curing step for heat curing the phenol resin is further included before the heat treatment step after the impregnation step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】劣化や粉化を抑制し得た長寿命な成形断熱材を低コストで提供する。【解決手段】炭素繊維を交絡させた繊維フェルトと前記繊維フェルトの炭素繊維表面を被覆する炭素質からなる保護炭素層とを有する成形断熱材の少なくとも一つの表面を、合成樹脂と前記合成樹脂を溶解する溶媒とからなる表面被覆剤溶液に浸漬して、成形断熱材に前記表面被覆剤溶液を添加する浸漬ステップと、前記浸漬ステップの後、成形断熱材を不活性雰囲気下1500〜2500℃で熱処理し、前記合成樹脂を炭素化させて、表面被覆層を形成する熱処理ステップと、を有し、前記合成樹脂がフェノール樹脂であり、前記浸漬ステップの後、前記熱処理ステップの前に、前記フェノール樹脂を熱硬化させる熱硬化ステップをさらに有する、表面処理された成形断熱材の製造方法。【選択図】図1
