PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which anhydrous gypsum can be efficiently produced from waste gypsum while sufficiently suppressing generation of SOx.SOLUTION: A method for producing anhydrous gypsum, including a heating step of heating waste gypsum including dihydrate gypsum to obtain anhydrous gypsum, is provided in which the waste gypsum is supplied toward a combustion flame and is heated in the heating step.SELECTED DRAWING: None
