CONSTRUCTION MACHINE AND ENGINE COVER INSTALLATION METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION MACHINE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine and an engine cover installation method of the construction machine, for improving workability in engine cover installation work.SOLUTION: A stay guide 25 extending in the longitudinal direction is provided between an openable-closable third engine cover 29 for covering a maintenance opening part 17A and an engine 8. A stay 36 for maintaining the third engine cover 29 in an opening state by being guided by the stay guide 25 when opening-closing the third engine cover 29, is provided between the third engine cover 29 and the stay guide 25. An upper face plate 29B of the third engine cover 29 is provided with a stay installing opening part (a discharge port 29B2) for installing the stay 36 in the third engine cover 29 and the stay guide 25 in a position corresponding to the stay 36 when the third engine cover 29 is a closed state. The discharge port 29B2 is provided with a duct 32 for discharging cooling air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
