STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING DECORATIVE MOLDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for mounting a decorative molding on a decorated surface, the decorative molding having a closed transverse cross-section form and being hard to get deformed at a time of extrusion molding, and the structure and the method offering excellent appearance design.SOLUTION: A cylindrical decorative molding 10 is fitted on a decorated surface S through a fixture 20 fixed on the decorated surface S, the decorative molding having a cylindrical outer ring on a transverse cross-section and an opening 11 on a side wall. The fixture 20 used includes first and second elastic members 22a, b that are elastically energized in directions to separate the members from each other, and a supporting step part 23 formed along a virtual line connecting the first elastic member and the second elastic member and rising in a direction away from the decorated surface. The first elastic member and the second elastic member penetrate into the decorative molding through the opening 11, and stably hold the decorative molding by being pressed against two side walls 12a, b of the decorative molding from inside, the side walls being located oppositely to each other. The supporting step part 23 stabilizes an attitude of the decorative molding 10, by coming in contact with a side 13 of the opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】閉じた横断面形状を有していて押出成形時にも変形し難い化粧モールを被化粧面に取り付ける取付構造および方法であって、外観意匠も良好な取付構造および方法を提供する。【解決手段】横断面の外輪が筒状でその一側壁に開口１１を備えた筒状の化粧モール１０を、被化粧面Ｓに固定した取付具２０を介して、当該被化粧面Ｓに取り付ける。使用する取付具２０は、互いに離れる方向へ弾性的に付勢された第１、第２の弾性部材２２ａ、ｂと、第１弾性部材と第２弾性部材を結ぶ仮想線に沿って形成されていて、被化粧面から離れる方向に立ち上がる支持段部２３と、を備える。第１弾性部材および第２弾性部材は、上記開口１１を通して化粧モール内部に入り込むとともに、化粧モールの対向する２つの側壁１２ａ、ｂに内側から圧接して、化粧モールを安定保持する。支持段部２３は、上記開口の一辺１３に当接することで、化粧モール１０の姿勢を安定させる。【選択図】図１
