PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinged door drive device which is cheap and has a long life time and high safety, and with which the hinged door can be manually opened even in interruption of power supply.SOLUTION: A hinged door drive device (100) driving a hinged door using drive force of a driver (1) includes a first movable member (4) which is moved by the drive force of the driver, storing means (5, 6) each of which converts a first mechanical energy accompanied with movement of the first movable member into elastic energy and stores the elastic energy, a second movable member (7) which converts the elastic energy stored in the storing means into a second mechanical energy and is moved, and drive members (9 to 11) which drive the hinged door, responding to movement of the second movable member. The hinged door drive device (100) transmits the drive force of the driver (1) to the hinged door with delay, and drives the hinged door.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
