PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolation structure capable of effectively base-isolating swinging acting on a column for constituting a structure in a horizontal biaxial direction, with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A base-isolation structure comprises a column member 27, a base-isolation column 28 and a restriction member 26 for restricting the column member 27 and the base-isolation column 28, an overhang part 28a overhanging to the outside is formed in any one connection part of the column member 27 and the base-isolation column 28, the other connection part of the column member 27 and the base-isolation column 28 is formed as a side surface of a column for fixing the restriction member 26, the restriction member 26 forms a nipping part 26c for nipping the overhang part 28a by an end part of the column positioned in the other of the column member 27 and the base-isolation column 28, and the nipping part 26c has a clearance so that the nipping part 26c makes the base-isolation column 28 inclinable to the overhang part 28a formed in any one connection part of the column member 27 and the base-isolation column 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
