VEHICULAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ON-VEHICLE DEVICE, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular communication system, an on-vehicle device, and a computer program which can notify a user of detailed positional information about a portable machine.SOLUTION: A vehicular communication system includes: an on-vehicle device which includes a first on-vehicle transmission section which has an antenna for defining a first range including a part or all of a cabin as an output range and transmitting a first radio signal and a first on-vehicle reception section which receives a response signal corresponding to the first radio signal; and a portable machine which transmits the response signal when receiving the first radio signal. The on-vehicle device further includes: a second on-vehicle transmission section which defines a second range including a part of the first range but not including all as an output range and has an antenna for transmitting a second radio signal; a second on-vehicle reception section which receives a response signal corresponding to the second radio signal; a determination section which determines the range of the position of the portable machine on the basis of the combinations of the propriety of reception in the first on-vehicle reception section and the second on-vehicle reception section; and an output section which outputs the determined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
