COUPLING DEVICE FOR TONGUE RAIL AND CONNECTING ROD OF TURNOUT FOR RAILROAD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a derailment accident that could take place when a tongue rail and a connecting rod are separated due to switchover force exerted by the connecting rod to the tongue rail at a time of tongue rail switchover (lateral motion of the connecting rod and pressing of the tongue rail onto a stock rail) and vibration of the tongue rail caused by a passing train and conveyed to each bolt and nut connecting a U-shaped metal fitting and a connecting plate, which result in loosening and fall-out of the bolt and nut.SOLUTION: At a fitting portion 5 for a tongue rail 1 and a connecting rod 2, the tongue rail 1 and the connecting rod 2 are connected by protrusion-recess engagement between a protruded member 3 and a recessed member 4, the protruded member being formed in a spherical belt form and the recessed member having an externally fitted portion 40 corresponding to the protruded member 3 of the spherical belt form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 トングレールの転換時に転てつ棒からトングレールに作用する転換力(転てつ棒の左右動、基本レールへのトングレールの押付け)と車両通過時のトングレールの振動とがU字状金具と接続板とを接続する各ボルト、各ナットに作用するため前記各ナットが弛緩して脱落し、トングレールと転てつ棒が分離し、脱線事故が発生する可能性があるものと考えられる。【解決手段】 トングレール1と転てつ棒2の取付部5において、球帯状に形成した凸部材3と、前記球帯状の凸部材3に対応する外嵌部40を有する凹部材4とを凹凸嵌合してトングレール1と転てつ棒2とを連結することを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
