GROUND IMPROVEMENT STRUCTURE AND GROUND EXCAVATION METHOD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground improvement structure or the like capable of restraining deformation of an earth retaining wall, and capable of also reducing quantity of a ground improvement body.SOLUTION: A ground improvement structure 1 is constructed on an excavation part side ground 9 of an earth retaining wall 3 for restraining the earth retaining wall 3 from deforming to the excavation part side in response to progress of excavation of the ground 9. The ground improvement structure 1 comprises a plate-like ground improvement body 5 along the substantially horizontal direction and a plate-like ground improvement body 7 along the substantially vertical direction. The ground improvement body 5 is arranged at a predetermined interval in the vertical direction so that a side surface abuts on the earth retaining wall 3. The ground improvement body 7 is arranged in the direction toward the excavation part side from the earth retaining wall side by abutting on an opposite side surface of the side surface of the respective ground improvement bodies 5. The plurality of ground improvement bodies 7 are arranged at a predetermined interval in the width direction of the earth retaining wall 3, and are provided so that a lower end part reaches a support layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】山留壁の変形を抑制でき、且つ地盤改良体の数量を削減できる地盤改良構造等を提供する。【解決手段】地盤改良構造1は、地盤9の掘削の進行に伴って山留壁3が掘削部側に変形するのを抑制するためのものであり、山留壁3の掘削部側の地盤9に構築される。地盤改良構造1は、略水平方向に沿った板状の地盤改良体5と、略鉛直方向に沿った板状の地盤改良体7を有する。地盤改良体5は、山留壁3に側面が当接するように、鉛直方向に所定の間隔をおいて配置される。地盤改良体7は、各地盤改良体5の上記側面と反対側の側面に当接し、山留壁側から掘削部側に向かう方向に配置される。地盤改良体7は、山留壁3の幅方向に所定の間隔をおいて複数配置され、下端部が支持層に達するように設けられる。【選択図】図1
