VEHICLE LATCH DEVICE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle latch device which constrains a closing member without being affected by dispersion of direction of a load from inside to outside of a vehicle when the load is latched by the closing member, where the closing member keeps closing a vehicle opening.SOLUTION: A vehicle latch device 1 including a striker 11 which is disposed on either a sliding door S2 or a vehicle body S, and a constraining member 31 which is disposed on the other of the sliding door S2 or the vehicle body S and is rotatably supported among a constraining position for constraining the striker 11 and an opening position for opening the striker 11, is provided with a regulating member 41 which is disposed on the other of the sliding door S2 or the vehicle body S and is movably supported between a regulating position for regulating a move to the opening position of the constraining member 31 positioned at the constraining position and a deregulating position being separated from a moving trace of the constraining member 31 and not acting on a move of the constraining member 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車内側から車外側への荷重が閉止部材に掛かった際に、荷重の方向のばらつきに影響されずに、閉止部材を拘束し、閉止部材が車両開口部を閉じた状態を保持する車両用ラッチ装置を提供する。【解決手段】スライドドアS2と車体Sのどちらか一方に配置されるストライカ11と、スライドドアS2と車体Sの他方に配置されつつ、ストライカ11を拘束する拘束位置と、ストライカ11が開放される開放位置との間を回動可能に支持される拘束部材31と、を備えた車両用ラッチ装置1に、スライドドアS2と車体Sの他方に配置されつつ、拘束位置に位置する拘束部材31の開放位置への移動を規制する規制位置と、拘束部材31の移動軌跡から離間し、拘束部材31の動きに作用しない規制解除位置との間を移動可能に支持された規制部材41を設ける。【選択図】図1
