PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration reduction device capable of preferably changing over an attenuation force in response to a value of vibration to be inputted.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a vibration reduction device A for reducing a relative vibration between the two members relatively vibrated. The vibration reduction device comprises a cylinder 5 of which one end is connected to one member and arranged, a piston 8 for defining an inside part of the cylinder 5 into a first cell 6 and a second cell 7, a piston rod 9 with one end being connected to the piston 8, extended outside in an axial line direction of the cylinder 5 and the other end being connected to the other member and arranged and working fluid 10 filled in the first cell 6 and the second cell 7 and there is provided a variable attenuation mechanism 20 for increasing an attenuation coefficient when it exceeds a prescribed reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
