MONOLITH-TYPE SUBSTRATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolith-type substrate that can provide compactification and/or reduction in weight thereof while maintaining permeability and can improve grinding workability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A monolith-type substrate 10 is constituted of an aggregate and a binding material and has pores. The monolith-type substrate 10 includes a plurality of filtration cells 24, a plurality of water collection cells 25 and a discharge flow passage 26. The aggregate has D50 of 5 μm or more and less than 40 μm. A volume ratio of the binding material relative to a total volume of the aggregate and the binding material is 15 vol.% or more and 35 vol.% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
