    PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efflorescence inhibitor for cement composition which can be used without the need of a special device and largely changing a conventional production process of a cement composition, and can sufficiently suppress occurrence of efflorescence of a cement composition even under low temperature condition.SOLUTION: An efflorescence inhibitor for cement composition contains calcium nitrite. An efflorescence whitening method for cement composition includes a step of adding calcium nitrite to a cement composition.
