SEISMIC ISOLATED BUILDING
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic isolated building enabling limitation on arrangement of a seismic device, a column and others to be reduced and enabling cost to be reduced.SOLUTION: An uplift allowable device 7 is disposed at intermediate part of a column 6 above a horizontal member 5 supported by a seismic isolated layer 1. The uplift allowable device 7 has a concavity 8, which is formed on either one of an upper part side or a lower part side of the column 6, and a convexity 9, which is formed on the other and slidably engaged with the concavity 8. The column 6 is located on a periphery of a building or supports an earthquake-resisting wall 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
