    PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion holding agent for hydraulic compositions that can hold the fluidity of hydraulic compositions even after a long time has elapses since mixing, and also reduces delay in curing.SOLUTION: As a dispersion holding agent for hydraulic compositions, used is a vinyl copolymer obtained by copolymerizing a specific monomer having a carboxyl group in the molecule and a specific monomer having a polyalkylene glycol residue in the molecule, and, optionally, another monomer copolymerizable with theses monomers.SELECTED DRAWING: None
