PLATING METHOD FOR FAUCET METAL FITTINGS, FAUCET METAL FITTINGS PLATING APPARATUS, AND FAUCET METAL FITTINGS MADE OF COPPER ALLOY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plating method for faucet metal fittings that are made of a lead-containing copper alloy, which has a nickel-chromium plating layer and can suppress nickel and lead from eluting (leaching), a faucet metal fittings plating apparatus, and the faucet metal fittings made of a copper alloy.SOLUTION: There are provided: a plating method for faucet metal fittings that includes a process of the faucet metal fittings made of a lead-containing copper alloy with nickel and chromium, and a process of carrying out electroless tin plating after the process; a faucet metal fittings plating apparatus; and the faucet metal fittings made of a copper alloy. It is preferred that the plating method uses alloy to which lead is added as the copper alloy, and includes a lead removing process of removing lead before the process of nickel-chromium plating.SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】鉛含有銅合金製の水栓金具において、ニッケル−クロムめっき層を有し、かつニッケル及び鉛の溶出(浸出)を抑制できる水栓金具のめっき方法及び水栓金具めっき装置並びに銅合金製の水栓金具を提供。【解決手段】鉛含有銅合金製の水栓金具にニッケルとクロムめっきを行う工程と、その工程よりも後に無電解錫めっきを行う工程を含んでいる水栓金具のめっき方法及び水栓金具めっき装置並びに銅合金製の水栓金具。前記銅合金として、鉛が添加されているものを用い、前記ニッケル−クロムめっきを行う工程の前段に鉛を除去する鉛除去工程を含むことが好ましい、めっき方法。【選択図】なし
