VERGE VENTILATION MEMBER
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verge ventilation member that enhances durability of a building and facilitates discharging of moisture from a rafter and a roof substrate material.SOLUTION: A verge ventilation member 11 is installed between a top surface of a rafter and an undersurface of a roof substrate material, has a rectangular parallelepiped shape extending in a longer-side direction, and comprises a ventilation body 16 having an upper facing surface 26 in contact with the roof substrate material and a lower facing surface in contact with the rafter. The ventilation body 16 of the verge ventilation member 11 includes an opening 24 penetrating through the upper facing surface 26 and the lower facing surface, and ventilation means 30 communicating the opening 24 with outside and formed as ventilation channels 31a to 31c and ventilation channels 32a to 32d. The ventilation channels communicate each of a pair of vertical facing surface 20 and vertical facing surface 21 with the opening 24, the vertical facing surfaces being formed in a shorter-side direction of the ventilation body 16. The configuration enables moisture evaporating from the rafter and the roof substrate material to be discharged outside, thereby enhancing durability of the building.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
【課題】 建築物の耐久性が向上すると共に、垂木や屋根下地材から水分等が排出され易くなるケラバ通気部材を提供する。【解決手段】 ケラバ通気部材11は、垂木の上面と屋根下地材の下面との間に設置され、長手方向に延びる直方体形状を有し、屋根下地材に接する上部対向面26と垂木に接する下部対向面とを含む通気本体16から構成される。ケラバ通気部材11の通気本体16には、上部対向面26及び下部対向面を貫通する開口24と、開口24と外方とを連通する通気手段30である通気路31a〜通気路31c及び通気路32a〜通気路32dとが形成されている。これら通気路は、通気本体16の短手方向の一対の垂直対向面20及び垂直対向面21の各々と開口24とを連通する。このように構成することにより、垂木や屋根下地材から蒸散する水分等が外方に排出されるため、建築物の耐久性が向上する。【選択図】 図3
