To provide a verge ventilation member with good waterproofness capable of exhausting air in a wall space out of a building without introducing it to an attic space.SOLUTION: A verge ventilation member is attached to a verge 1C of a building 1 having no or small protrusion of the verge 1C and including a roof board 2, an outer wall ventilation member 5, and a verge member 11 having a suspended section 11a protruding downward further than the roof board 2. A main body 30 comprises: a bottom plate 31; a front plate 32 and a rear plate 33 erected on the bottom plate 31; an upper plate 34 opposed to the bottom plate 31; and a baffle plate 35 suspended from the upper plate 34, wherein the upper plate 34 abuts the roof board 2 at a position inner than that of the suspended section 11a and the rear plate 33 is attached on the building 1 as abutting the outer wall ventilation member 5. An air inflow inlet 37 is arranged between the rear plate 33 and the upper plate 34, and an air outflow outlet 36 is arranged in the front plate 32 as facing horizontally in a state that the main body 30 is attached on the building 1, and the baffle plate 35 is positioned between the air inflow inlet 37 and the air outflow outlet 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
