METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING THE ELUTION OF HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM IN Cr-CONTAINING SLAG
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely suppress the high temperature oxidation of Cr-containing slag by controlling Cr-containing slag in such a manner that, upon the cooling step upon slag exhausting in the slag, the contact between the slat and the air can be shielded.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for suppressing the elution of hexavalent chromium in Cr-containing slag where, upon cooling of Cr-containing slag 10, when an air shielding agent 12 is charged so as to cover the whole face of the part at which the slag is in contact with the air, the relation among the maximum particle diameter (D[mm]) of the air shielding agent 12, the uniformity coefficient (UC) of the air shielding agent 12, the curvature coefficient (UC') of the air shielding agent 12 and the thickness (h1[mm]) of the air shielding agent 12 satisfies D≤40, UC>5, 1≤UC'≤UC 0.5 and h1×UC≥50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
【課題】Cr含有スラグに対し、スラグの排滓時の冷却過程に際し、スラグが大気との接触を遮断可能となるように制御することで、Cr含有スラグの高温酸化を確実に抑制する。【解決手段】本発明にかかるCr含有スラグの六価クロム溶出抑制方法は、Crを含有するスラグ10を冷却するに際して、前記スラグが大気と接触する部分の全面を被覆するように大気遮断剤12を装入するにあたり、大気遮断剤12の最大粒径(D[mm])、大気遮断剤12の均等係数(UC)、大気遮断剤12の曲率係数(UC’)、大気遮断剤12の厚み(h1[mm])との関係を、D≦40、UC>5、1≦UC’≦UC^0.5、h1×UC≧50とする。【選択図】図4
