PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preceding handrail that facilitates fitting work especially to a connection receiving part at a high location on a support post.SOLUTION: A preceding handrail 1 has a connection receiving part 83 provided at a prescribed interval in an axial direction, and a horizontal member 2 installed roughly in a horizontal direction and a brace 4 installed in a diagonal direction connected between a support post 81 erected at a prescribed interval, through a connection member 3 having an insertion part 8 to be inserted into the connection receiving part from above. The connection member 3 is provided at a location above the insertion part 8, and includes a horizontal member fitting part 9 pivoted rotatably near both ends of the horizontal member 2, and a brace fitting part 10 provided near the insertion part 8 at a location below the horizontal member fitting part 9, for pivoting the brace 4 rotatably. A side of the connection member on a tip 2b of a connection axis with the horizontal member 2 may come in contact with the insertion part 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】 特に支柱の高い位置にある連結受部に取り付け作業を容易にすることができる先行手摺りを提供する。【解決手段】 軸方向に沿って所定間隔に設けられた連結受部８３を有し、所定間隔で立設された支柱８１の間に、略水平方向に架設される水平部材２と斜め方向に架設される筋交４とが、前記連結受部に上方から差し込まれる差込部８を備えた連結部材３を介して連結された先行手摺り１である。前記連結部材３は、前記差込部８の上方位置に設けられ、前記水平部材２の両端近傍と回動可能に枢着する水平部材取付部９と、前記水平部材取付部９の下方位置に前記差込部８に近接して設けられ、前記斜材４を回動可能に枢着する斜材取付部１０とを備え、前記水平部材２との連結軸先端２ｂ側が前記差込部８に当接可能に構成されている。【選択図】 図２
