ZEOLITE SINTERED COMPACT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND COMPOSITION THEREFOR
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolite sintered compact containing zeolite at a high concentration and having a compressive stress of 10 MPa while retaining the crystal structure of zeolite, a method for producing the same, and a composition therefor.SOLUTION: A composition, as raw material, containing: zeolite powder of 60 or 68 to 90 mass%; hydrated lime or calcium oxide of 0.1 to 2 mass%; sodium silicate of 8 to 30 mass% and an oxidizer for concrete of 25 mass% or lower as optional selection is added with water, kneading is performed, thereafter, molding is performed, curing is performed, drying is performed, and thereafter, sintering is performed at a temperature of 550°C or lower to obtain a zeolite sintered compact in which the prescribed peak of natural zeolite is observed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 ゼオライトを高濃度で含み、ゼオライトの結晶構造を保ちつつ、且つ10MPa以上の圧縮強度を有するゼオライト焼結体、その製造方法及びそのための組成物を提供する。【解決手段】 原料として、60又は68〜90質量%のゼオライト粉末と、0.1〜2質量%の消石灰または生石灰と、8〜30質量%のケイ酸ナトリウムと、任意選択的に25質量%以下のコンクリート用の混和材とを含む組成物に、水を加えて混練した後に成形し、硬化させ、乾燥させた上で、550℃以下の温度で焼結することで、天然ゼオライトの所定のピークが観察されるゼオライト焼結体を得ることができる。【選択図】図1
