WATER RETENTIVE PAVEMENT STRUCTURE
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling effect of a road surface temperature and to extend duration of cooling effect for a road surface greatly, compared with the prior art.SOLUTION: A water retentive pavement structure comprises: a water passing route which is continuous to allow water to flow between a roadbed 20 comprising a single grain aggregate 21 of high porosity, a sand layer 50 and a permeable pavement 60; and a water passing route which is continuous to allow water to flow between a water retentive cell structure 30, a water absorption sheet 40 and the permeable pavement 60, by bringing a flat part 41 of the water absorption sheet 40 into contact with the top face of the water retentive cell structure 30 with a water-liftable function while top parts of a plurality of raised parts 42 formed to project on the top face of the water absorption sheet 40 are brought into contact with the undersurface of the permeable pavement 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
