PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary handrail that is installed outdoors.SOLUTION: A temporary handrail 100 comprises: a first brace 111, which is installed on a first base plate 101; a second brace 112, which is installed on a second base plate 102; a first handrail fitting part 191, which is installed so that an angle to the first brace 111 can be changed through a first hinge 121; a second handrail fitting part 192, which is installed so that an angle to the second brace 112 can be changed through the second hinge 122; and a first handrail 131, which extends from the first handrail fitting part 191 to the second handrail fitting part 192. Holes that penetrate a surface plate 101a and a reinforcement plate at a section where the surface plate 101a overlaps the reinforcement plate and penetrate the surface plate 101a at a section where the surface plate 101a does not overlap the reinforcement plate, respectively, are formed on the first base plate 101.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
