PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom of a layout in an operator cab.SOLUTION: A wheel type hydraulic shovel comprises a control device for determining that a hydraulic shovel is in any state of a travel state and a work state, executing first control for switching a state to any of an effective state of making operation of an operation device to a work device effective and an ineffective state of making the operation of the operation device to the work device ineffective on the basis of a signal from an input device when the signal from the input device for inputting a code number when the hydraulic shovel is in the work state, executing second control different from the first control when the signal from the input device is input when the hydraulic shovel is in the travel state, displaying a first display image expressing the travel state on a display device when the hydraulic shovel is in the travel state, and displaying a second display image expressing whether the state is in the effective state in which the operation of the operation device to the work device is made effective or the state is in the ineffective state in which the operation of the operation device to the work device is made ineffective, on the display device, when the hydraulic shovel is in the work state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
