PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable machine for a vehicle on which both of a vehicle communication part and a short-range communication part are mounted, and which can reduce the risk that communication with a vehicle side device cannot be executed due to lowering of remaining capacity of a battery.SOLUTION: A vehicle communication part 11 and a short-range communication part 12 are connected to a battery 13 via a relay switch 14. The relay switch 14 is constituted so as to connect only one of the vehicle communication part 11 and the short-range communication part 12 to the battery 13, and the connection state is controlled by connection control parts F11, F21. In the case where the remaining capacity of a battery is not lowered to a fallback level, the connection control part F11 switches the connection state of the relay switch 14 to the connection state in which power is supplied to the short-range communication part 12 on the basis of the request from a vehicle side device, and on the other hand, in the case where the remaining capacity of the battery is lowered to the fallback level, the connection control part maintains the state in which power supply to the short-range communication part is blocked even when there is a request from the vehicle side device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】車両通信部と近距離通信部の両方が搭載された車両用携帯機において、電池残量の低下に起因して車両側装置との通信が実行できなくなる恐れを低減可能な車両用携帯機を提供する。【解決手段】車両通信部11と近距離通信部12を、リレースイッチ14を介して電池13と接続する。リレースイッチ14は、車両通信部11と近距離通信部12の何れか一方にのみを電池13と接続するように構成されており、その接続状態は、接続制御部F11、F21によって制御される。接続制御部F11は、電池残量がフォールバックレベルまで低下していない場合には、車両側装置からの要求に基づいてリレースイッチ14の接続状態を近距離通信部12に電力が供給される接続状態に切り替える一方、電池残量がフォールバックレベルまで低下している場合には車両側装置からの要求があっても近距離通信部への電力供給を遮断した状態を維持する。【選択図】図2
