PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform efficiently a connecting work between shape steels in construction work of a building including temporary fixation.SOLUTION: A shape steel connecting method includes a temporary fixing step of temporarily fixing adjacent beams 2 and splice plates 3a, 3b by a temporary bolt plate 5 having a plurality of temporary bolts 5b. In the temporary fixing step, using the temporary bolt plate 5 having a plate body 5a and the plurality of temporary bolts 5b formed integrally with the plate body 5a and having screw portions 5bb protruding in the same direction from the plate body 5a, the temporary bolts 5b are temporarily fastened into the insertion holes of the splice plates 3a and 3b and the insertion holes of the beam 2 other than the insertion holes of the splice plates 3a and 3b and the insertion holes of the beam 2 through which a main bolt 7a is passed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
