PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brick for a blast furnace hearth, which has improved molten iron resistance and slag resistance, and to improve a service life of the blast furnace hearth.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a brick for a blast furnace hearth, which can be obtained by: adding a binder to a refractory raw material compound and then kneading the same to prepare a molded body; and baking the molded body at 1,000°C or higher under a nitrogen atmosphere or in carbon grains, the refractory raw material comprising 80 mass% or more and 95 mass% or less of alumina, 1 mass% or more and 15 mass% or less of aluminum, and 4 mass% or more and 10 mass% or less of flake graphite having a grain size of 0.2 mm or lower, and having an Si component of 3.0 mass% or lower (including 0).SELECTED DRAWING: None
